A federal ATF analysis could not conclusively link a bullet fragment from Charlie Kirk\u2019s autopsy to the rifle found near the scene of his killing, according to recent court filings, and the FBI is still running additional tests. Kirk\u2019s accused shooter, Tyler Robinson, is now seeking to delay a May preliminary hearing while his defense reviews the forensic evidence and other case materials.\n\nProsecutors say they still have enough evidence to move the case toward trial, including DNA consistent with Robinson\u2019s on the rifle\u2019s trigger and cartridges, and they plan to seek the death penalty. Robinson, 22, is charged with aggravated murder in the September shooting at Utah Valley University and is due back in court on April 17 over a request to ban cameras.
